Zhangye Danxia Geopark, China

 Welcome to the beautiful Zhangye Danxia Geopark in China! This geopark is a unique site famous for its spectacular red and orange colored rock formations. The image of this geopark is full of both the wonder of nature and the magnificence of human beings' creation. Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang determined that this place is to be called a geopark on Nov 22, 2007, which was approved by the Chinese State Council and thus became one of China's first three national geology parks.

Take an exciting journey through China's Zhangye Danxia Geopark, where rust-red canyons and cavernous peaks rise up into snowy mist and clouds. These stunning red rock formations are a world wonder, and have been designated as China's first geopark!

Venice, Italy

Venice is a huge city with more than 150,000 people. Located on the Adriatic Sea in Italy, Venice is made up of 118 small islands. Built in 421 AD by settlers from Padua, Venice is also known as the "City of Water". With canals that run throughout Venice and along the center is Grand Canal, a popular tourist attraction. The gondolas are considered to be the signature boat of Venice. They are decorated and there are usually 3 seats in this boat. Tourists can take an hour's ride on the canal for a few dollars.

Great Ocean Road, Australia

Australia has such natural beauty to offer. One of the top tourist places is The Great Ocean Road in Victoria-Australia. Its significance and fame is linked with the World War II Memorial that can be found around the corner from the Otway National Park Boardwalk. The place is often visited by tourists for its beautiful coast line, wildlife and waterfalls. It has become an unmissable tourist spot for its great bike trail for a scenic road trip.

Great Ocean Road is a National Heritage-listed scenic road and is located in the south-west of Victoria, Australia. It is signed with the tourist route number 1 and has been designated as a State Highway. The road was created as part of a depression relief program during the 1930s and is an important historical, cultural and tourist drive within Australia.

Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is the site of a pre-Columbian Inca citadel situated on a mountain ridge above the Urubamba Valley, many miles northwest of Cusco and south of Mount Veronica, in Peru. It is located in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, Machupicchu District. Most archaeologists believe that Machu Picchu was built as an estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti.

Machu Picchu is one of the new 7 wonders of the world, and home to some of the most breathtaking views in Peru. The city was built high in the Andes Mountains around 100 AD. People lived there while hiding from their enemies (the Incas). Most buildings don't have windows, which helped hide people from seeing others. After they were discovered by Spanish conquerors, everyone left the city. Plenty of tourists visit today

Pamukkale, Turkey

Pamukkale (pronounced pahm-OOK-kah-lay) is a natural site located in Turkey. The area includes travertines, terraces and pools cascading down a 300 m (984 ft) escarpment formed by mineral springs, and it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The terraced hills of Pamukkale or Cotton Castle have an impressive architectural structure. This is nature's own handiwork at its best and most magnificent.

Pamukkale is a historical site in Denizli Province in western Turkey. Underneath Pamukkale is the travertine reserve of hot springs and "chalky" water created by the flowing water, creating the whiteness for which Pamukkale is named. The ancient Greco-Roman city of Hierapolis was built on top of the white calcium deposits, practically molded into terraces

Japan in Cherry Blossom Season

Japan has more than 3,000 cherry blossom trees that flower during the spring and early summer. The blossoms unfurl in April in Okinawa, spread northward and peak in mid-April in southern Japan such as Miyazaki and Kagoshima. Bora Bora, French Polynesia

It is known for its vibrant culture and traditional customs. Famed as a honeymoon destination, the island has many luxury resorts and restaurants with spectacular views.

Oia, Santorini, Greece

From mid April to the end of October, Oia, the whitewashed village on top of a cliff in Santorini is bathed in sunlight. The rising sun casts a warm glow over Oia's honey-colored buildings and the deep blue Aegean Sea beyond. In the evening, the light shifts to crystalline aqua - making for a breathtaking sunset as the sun slips below the horizon. At various times during the day, one side of the caldera is lit in sunlight while the other is blanketed by shadows.

Oia is a lovely fishing village, the small town at the top of the caldera volcano, just above the famous blue harbor town Fira. The small volcanic peninsula makes up this town that lies on the island of Santorini in Greece. It is home to one of the most beautiful views in all of Greece and around making it one of the most sought out destinations in Europe today. It sits right on top of the huge crater-like hole that is left behind by an ancient volcano's eruption. This bright white city is built up high and is accessible by means of steps carved into natural rock cliffs.
